What you need to bring:

  • Valid MN fishing license (16 years and older)
  • Snacks and beverages
  • Weather adequate clothing
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • PMA (positive mental attitude!)
  • Recommended – cooler to transport fish fillets if meeting at boat launch

2026 Rates

Ely Area Local Lakes

Full day (8 hours): 1-2 people: $625; Additional people: $125/ea.
3/4 day (6 hours): 1-2 people: $550; Additional people: $100/ea.
1/2 day (4 hours): 1-2 people: $475; Additional people: $75/ea.
*Maximum 4 customers per boat. More than 4 will require additional guides

BWCA Motorboat Day Trips

Full day (8 hours): 1-2 people: $625; Additional people: $125/ea.
3/4 day (6 hours): 1-2 people: $550; Additional people: $100/ea.
*Maximum 3 customers per boat. More than 3 will require additional guides

Contact our friends at Boundary Waters Outfitters for rates and to book your trip. Just ask for us to be your guide!

Shore Lunch

1-2 people: $50; Additional people: $25/ea.
*Only available on 3/4 and full day trips


Deposits

All trips require a $200 per day, per boat deposit
Any multi guide or trips 3 days or longer require a 50% deposit
All overnight motorboat trips require a 50% deposit

Cancellation Policy

All deposits are refundable up until 30 days before your trip. If within 30 days of your trip, if your trip can be rebooked your deposit will be carried forward to the rebooked trip.

Payments

All trip balance payments must be made at the end of your trip prior to leaving the boat launch or dock.

Credit Card - A 4% service fee will be applied to all credit card payments

Gratuity

If you have a good experience and your guide works hard make sure to let us know. Gratuity is customary and greatly appreciated!
